About

Mr James Gill is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in the diagnosis and treatment of knee conditions. He consults privately at St Edmunds Hospital and Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, and is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust in Bury St Edmunds.

James is committed to helping patients of all ages overcome knee pain and restore function. He believes that successful treatment begins with a thorough assessment, taking the time to understand each patient's symptoms, goals, and lifestyle. This allows him to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to the individual, ranging from non-operative management through to advanced knee surgery when required.

His aim is to provide clear, evidence-based advice and high-quality care, helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them with confidence and improved quality of life.
